Oil Change Intervals?

When do you guys change your oil? Do you follow the manuals intervals? I recently picked up some great running trikes. 1 Honda and 1 Yamaha. When I got them both the oil looked like crap. So how often do you change oil/filter?

Just go by the color. When it starts looking like black coffee...change it.

I try to change mine after every other ride, depending on how long of a ride it is. Dont forget the air filter also, always check it and clean it

Thats what Ive been doing. Ive changed my 185s twice now. It got black in about 4 hours. Which doesn't surprise me, the oil that was in it looked like crap.

And make sure you don't put your oil filter in backwards!:lol:
