it's a capaciter. it's rally not goign to do anything more than what your coil does already. it's more of a gimic than anything. the ones that tend to do "something" are the ones that have the capaciters in the plug wire itself and have to be grounded, but then there's issues with those. in the end it's best to jsut stick with a good stock plug setup and it'll work fine. anythign else can cause issues and foul plugs.
