Here's the 185 cylinder. Seem to have pretty good compression even though the piston would pretty much fall out of the bore LOL  Any way I got a 200 cylinder with a .50 over piston going into the auto-X just waiting on a cam chain and gaskets and I think I might be able to score a 200x cam the 185 one is tiny. How can I clean the carbon out of the exhaust port? Put some gas in there and let it soak? Put it together and give it a good run maybee:twisted:

if your gonna put a new chain in you ought to think about replacing the guide and tensioner too. if money's tight, put the tensioner in only then. i have found the tensioner wears out and without replacing it you'll constantly be fighting the o so common cam chain rattle. as far as that carbon, bead blasting would be best. if you cant bead it try taking a .050 feeler gauge and scrape with the rounded edge. this will help with the heavy stuff. and on the new to you .050 os piston, be sure to wash that stuff thoroughly cause its been sitting on a shelf for about 1 yr. good luck and be sure to let us know how it goes.

glad to hear it.... that piston was a stock x piston so the compression will be a little better than a stock 185... any updates on your 200x project?
