My 200x has an aftermarket exhaust with no markings on it to indicate what it is and it has no spark arrestor. I want to take it to the dunes on Memorial Day but I need a spark arrestor out there. I don't have the money to buy a new muffler, they are freakin expensive, so what are some ideas to get me legal for riding in the dunes?

Doesn't Cobra have a "sparky" or something?? Otherwise you'd need the stock huge heavy can I'd assume.....

If I put the stock exhaust on there, will it make the larger carb that's on there pointless?

Post a pic of the silencer and we can tell you what it is. If its a Cobra you can get a new core from them for $22, just call them.

Yes the stock can will negate the mods of a better carb and open airbox lid....

The tupperware looks funnier than hell I know, lol. It worked great on sunday though. It had no airbox and here in Washington that's a huge problem. I'm gonna buy a stock box soon and modify it to fit with the carb mod. Until then, Rubbermaid will work.

Tell ya what, I'll help you out.... I'll trade you a nice stock can for that un approved silencer... Sound good :D :lol:

LOL!! Thanks DC, but I think I will try somethin else first. Talked with my buddy and he may be able to get a core for me.
