Anyone know anything about this guard. It was mounted on a 82 250r. Dont know if it was custom or manufactured. Any info would be great.

That's a standard Hondaline guard for the 81-82 250R. They are usually black.

Did they make them in red? Are these pretty common still?

I am completely impressed with some of these guards and racks....

I could NEVER reproduce them without spending hours and hours on them.

Did they make them in red? Are these pretty common still?

I think it was repainted. Those early R guards don't seem to be in high demand and do not pull too much on Ebay. I sold a couple and I think the best I got for one was $20 something.
