I've been looking at my chain slider, and it has seen better days. NOS is 125 bucks on ebay.

Did anyone ever make a replacement?

If not, I'm pretty sure I could get a block of Delrin like they use in paintball guns for firing bolts...cut it into the general shape...and then work it over with a dremel.

or does anyone know a better material.

I think that the delrin would wear very well...

the only issue is it requires a fairly large amount of material to place an order.

If I do make one, and post some pics up, would anyone be interested in purchasing one? make offers if so...

delrin is a very wear resistant plastic that also has an extremely low friction coefficient...

we've run them in paintball guns with minimal grease firing 4-5k shots a day, with no wear on the alluminum or delrin.

that aftermarket guy is ass raping people on the price.

his material costs are probably 3 dollars or so...if that.

the slide I'm talking about though is the one that is on the frame itself. not the swinger slide, but the lowest one on the frame.

hey, sweet site...they have a lot of stuff for the 350x, and pretty good prices on everything.

I'm still going to make my own, but the ones on here are 25 bucks just so everyone is aware.
