I would like one for my 200x. They dont seem to difficult to fabricate. Anyone ever done this?

or for 650.00 you get one like on the bottom made out of aluminum. (the top is a stock 350X)

so for $150 you'll extend a factory one and for $650 you'll build one out of aluminum? Those seem like great welds I have to admit, a bit steep on price though. How long does it take you to do it?

about a two week turnaround. yes 650.00 is steap but most of the other swingarm builders charge 550.00 for chromoly swinarms that they sell regulary and 650.00 for custom aplications like yours and their still chromoly. Aluminum is more expensive.

Im also going to make one out of aluminum for my 350x. I made a couple of swingarms for the ds650. One aluminum and one steel. :-D

After welding, are the swingarms heat treated?

thats a good question,,,, stress revieving is very important on something with that much welding especially aluminum which expands and contracts much more than steel when welded,,,
