forks? need help

How hard is it to change front fork seals. both are leaking now and where can i get some. and should i up grade the spring they are 83/84 forks ..:TrikesOwn

If you have the book it's very easy. Follow along with the instructions and you will be set. Putting the top bushing back in is the trickiest part but if you are careful you can do it with a long punch. Take your time and clean everything real good.

Everytime I buy cheap seals, they last 6 months....

I always buy OEM seals now.... I have a box with K+M, Leakproof and assorted aftermarket sels. I'll never use them, it's just too much work to take it all apart and clean it only to have them leak.

The original seals lasted a LONG time and I stick with that now.
