Hey...should I use higher octane gas or something with a Wiseco 10.5:1 compression piston (stock is 9.5:1) on My 86 200x???

93-93 should do it. Add a little octane booster to each tank of gas if you want to be safe.

what happens if I dont?? lol ...if I run ...let's say...87 octane gas?? lol then what? :-D :?:

Then you'll have detenation. If goes on to long you will burn a hole in your piston, lose of performance, and have to rebuild your top end after the piston goes!!

off ebay lol.......well not actually off ebay...i bought some other stuff off ebay and the guy said he'd throw in a new axle for $200 so I did it

I'm running 87 on my 10.5:1 :shock: I know I shouldn't be but its free (from my grandpa's gas stockpile) and I haven't noticed any detonation. I guess I'm lucky.

Should be allright with 87 on dirt roads or gravel. but if you were to ride in sand you would deff need the 93. Just becuse the sand puts more of a load on your motor.

hey did your piston and exhaust make a big diff over stock? I also have a 86 200x.

piston.WAY more power!@ and exhaust too..sounds FREAKIN AWESOME! more acceleration too

I paid $300.00 for it but i need to staightn the forks and new rear plastic and front fender. Other than that it's in great shape.

if u look at mine trailprotrailpro I restored it, I paid $435 as it was and it ran good....
