Looks like a very nice bike. A little time cleaning and polishing you will have a nice ride to hit the trails with. Nice score!

got the carb all part its perty dirty. i got it in the ultra sonic cleaner and its really cleaning it up. i put a new plug in it old one had no spark. new ngk sparks good.
i am going to need a new air filter for sure.
but it looks like i got me a good deal gas tank dosnt have a spec of rust in it and only a few scratches.
i found the build date was 3/83 so it was close to the first 200x's made right?

Looks like a very nice deal to me, as for the early build you have to remember they start making the next years model in September or October the year before. Not sure when the '83 200x was introduced to the market but if it wasn't mid model year then it would be a mid year or latter 83...

Looks a lot like mine that I got for $600 with a lot less stuff. I even had trail pros on the back of mine. Trail Pros will not allow a 200x to slide. I replaced them with 18" turf tamers and its now a totally different trike.
The multi-trac is a good flat track tire. Here is an ad for the sale of them.
