I'm waiting for my 350X Honda service manual to arrive from Honda and I need to know the torque specs for the Head bolt nuts, cam sprocket bolts, and valve lash specs for the valves.

Thanks for the help!

Come on, doesn't somebody have a manual with the torque specs? I would like to get the motor together ASAP.

Thanks,
Doug

I would wait on that manual to get the sequence for tightening and other tips. The cylinder, head and rocker top on a 350X is nothing to be guessing at. Don't take that chancce of messing up a good head.

I called Honda today and my service manual came in today :-D I wasn't going to do anymore on it until I received the manual. This isn't my first quad motor rebuild, I used to work at a bike/atv shop and I've always rebuilt all my atvs, bikes, 4x4's, etc. i have to wait until some parts from MR ATC come in, that is if he shipped them Monday? I realize he's really busy, but he won't return my emails or PM's :? Maybe he'll get a hold of me tomorrow since I wanted 3 other 350x parts. Having 2 350X's really doubles the parts count ;)

Thanks,
Doug

Hey I can relate! I have 2 350X's in pieces AND I have some parts coming from MR ATC. He has been good about returning my PM's since a couple days ago.

I'm not doing too bad on the 350X's though. I traded a M8000i Warn winch(that I paid $300 for) and $150 for the one 350X, then I bought the running one for $300. The parts 350X I had it a few years ago and the title was still in my name :-D The other one has been around the block a few times, but I bought it from a friend of mine that bought it new in 85 :) The running one had a $400 rear brake caliper, pads and axle bearings done to it from a Honda dealer and a new front tire. Outside of needing a clutch perch, a front brake line, fenders, seat cover, and cleaned up it will be a decent trike. The parts one came with a great solid frame, a new .40 over wiseco 10.25:1 piston kit, and the cylinder already bored for the new piston :-D I should have it running as soon as my parts from MR ATC come in :-D
