Has anyone ever been weary of the abuse there wheeler went through its whole life. I like to think my tecate is the mintest one in the maritimes (only one I can find) but offen think if my frame ever broke. Doing a small jump hitting a small object. I use to work on the Chemul Oil rig. (the one that hit the bridge in alabama during huricane katrina) Its here in halifax getting another refit after the huricane. Anyways they were using xrays to check the strength of the high pressure pipe. And I thought about getting my frames x rayed(if it was cheap)
Any ideas?

the best way to check for cracks would be to mpi it, that detects faults up to 3mm deep in steel. Its cheap and easy (if you've got a big horse-shoe magnet)

you lookin to check the welds or the whole frame ? theres magnaflux, ultrasonic, mag partical , dye penatration, all kinds ... x-ray gonna cost ya cuz it uses a radiation sorce so youll proably have to bring it somewhere ... unless the weld is 100% penatrated its gonna show a shadow in the x-ray any ways ...IMO dye pen or magnaflux would be your best bet

Just checking what is out there for products. I just do not want my bike to break. Its the only one in my province. That will tell you how rare they are around here. I would like the whole frame done.
