ok so i have an 84 honda 200s and i have been trying to get a spark now for about a week. i have tested everything with the multimeter and everything is good but the out put of the secondary side of coil. i found out it was the spark plug boot so i hooked it back up and still nothing.
i brought the coil with me to a shop and got a new one there, i tested them both there and they both read the same thing. so i thought, ok, its nt the coil. but i have power everywhere coming up to the primary coil until up to the secondary side. but i have coninuity through the sparkplug wire. so im almost out of ideas.
the alternater is good, the magneto is good im pretty sure. the black box is good to. but im getting a funny feeling about the coil becasue its not the stock coil. it might just be putting to much out and grounding on the coil and fukin somthing up or shorting out. maybe it might be the wrong coil, i need to know the stock coil that was on it. i have no idea i need help on trouble shooting and trying to get spark becasue its been to long that i havnt seen blue spark. thank you
