200x pulse generator questions

is the pulse generator/cdi unit for a 200s compatible with the 200x. i just got a 200x motor for a steal but it doesn't have the pulse generator unit. i looked up on bikebandit and they are have different numbers but i didn't know if the only difference is the connectors or if they just weren't interchangeable.

There is a difference in the wires. The 200x has longer wires than the 200s one does. If you want the correct one let me know. I have a extra one.

i actually found it. i just traded with a guy at 3w.org. i traded a 200x rear sprocket hub and 200x rear bearings and $68 (shipping) for a 200x engine. he claims he received the motor as an extra with a bike that he bought and the previous owner told him the timing slipped on the motor and he rebuilt it and lost some of the bolts so he never completed it. i haven't had my brother in law break the engine down yet but the only bolts that appear to be missing are for the stator housing and the pulse generator housing. i fear that there may be more wrong internally but just have to see. the pulse generator goodies were in a box with a bunch of gaskets, the kick start lever, a 200x carb, and a 200x wiring harness. if the motor isn't a POS, i think i got a damn good deal.
