Clean your air filter, new plug, if it still does it clean carb and make sure there isn't any leaks in the intake and check the reeds for cracks

possible air leak...ck boots and intake. How long has it sat with fuel in the carb? Gas today is O2 injected so the shelf life is not long...a gumming effect on the carb is possible. If it ran fine before storage the settings should not need to be changed. Be careful to note the amount of turns out they're at now. If your mix screw is out past 2 turns rule of thumb is to adjust the needle. If after the needle is bottomed or topped out and the screw is still 2 turns out...rule of thumb increase or decrease main jet. My money is on an air leak....it idles fine and when the motor sucks for the fuel too much air is getting in....Plug color will help determine the rich or lean question I'd ck the plug 1st then boots
sounds like the plug is way fouled, try a new plug FIRST then go from there.

Could me many things causing this issue. To start I would check the obvious such as fuel lines for any cracks, fuel filter, intake and gaskets - also make sure the bolts havnt backed off a little, air filter, spark plug. It never hurts to give the carb a once over either. You never know if something got inside it.
