Going to redo my cr250 engine, and I need a clutch center holder. Anybody have a good source for these?

Its to remove the clutch holder and lock nut.

Also, are they left hand or right hand thread? I cant remember and see no info in the manual.

stick a penny between the clutch basket gear and another gear. Or by the correct tool, I use the one from Motion Pro.

If it's still in the frame, put it in gear and hold the rear brake. Got air?

a good air gun is your best bet....no special tools needed.

and normaly the clutch is right hand threads

Went out and bought a impact gun, didnt do anything. Lefty loosey right? I tried standing on the brakes and hitting the ratchet with a hammer... NOPE, the the impact gun, NOPE.

Any other suggestions before I cut?

lefty loosey is right.

if the impact did not do it then you are low on air pressure or its a weak gun.

if the hub is spinning try holding it with your hand before you hit the trigger. be careful of the knuckle buster

435lbs of torque, its a electric gun

have it on bike now, no luck that way either. stood on brakes and had neighbor hit the trigger... still nothing.

why the **** is it so tight!?

you can make a clutch holding tool easy too. Re-doing the clutch at the same time as taking apart the motor? If you are its easy. Drill 2 holes in the fiber, now put a metal plate on the inner basket, put the figer(2 holes) over it and mark the location of the holes. Drill the metal plate, put bolts holding the metal tight to the fiber and not allowing it to spin. Done, cheap and easy clutch holding tool.
