I just ran my 250R this weekend with the Bill's Pipe I just got. I had wanted a Bill's since I built the bike but they are no longer avaliable. I called Bill's three times and even spoke to Bill. He told me that"Those jigs have been put away long ago". Since I chromed everything else and with all the money I was spending on the bike at the time a DG pipe and silencer was the cheapest set up you can buy chromed. But I ran the bike this weekend with the Bill's Pipe and WOW what a totally new bike. It has a totally different power band. It pulls harder than ever at different positions of the throttle. I bought the pipe used but near perfect except for some rust at the front that cleaned up with some chrome polish and a small ding. Now that I am so impressed with it I am going to have the ding filled and the pipe chromed like new. I thought about having it Jett-Hott ceramic coated but it is chrome now and looks so good bright chromed verses that dull Nickle plated DG pipe I will never use again.

Bill makes pipes for all popular Dirt Bikes and ATV's, but in their eyes 3 wheelers are no longer popular. As Bill himself told me, "those 3 wheeler jigs have been put away long ago".......
I like the Bill's Pipe on my Tri-Z. Sadly, I've not much experience with Tri-Zs to compare how it's improved over stock or DG. Mine does seem to pull harder and rev out better than stock Tri-Zs i've ridden in the past. Mine's high-maintenence bare metal.

Mike, You may have bought your best customers (Bill B.) old one. Way back when he built his "R" he bought the pipe from Grant (MAM) and he and I had our pipes chromed at Action Plating. You should find out from whomever you bought it from if they have the rest of the bike or if they were parting it out. You "want" that cylinder if it is from the same bike. The cylinder was marked Hawk Racing if I remember and Bill B's 250R was the fastest 250 that I have ever ridden.

A real good pipe for the Tri-Z was a Bassani or a Klemm Research pipe. I have used both back in the day and was impressed with the results compared to many of the other pipes available at the time. Just my two cents.
