85+ 250r carb on 83/84... what needed?

I have the carb but I believe I need a FL350 intake right? What else do I need to bolt it up?

I put a 34mm pj carb on my 82R using a stock 27mm intake boot. I just boiled mthe intake boot until it got soft enough to stretch over the carb. Problem solved.

When you install yours you'll have to make sure your throttle cable is long enough to fully open and close the carb all the way or you might run into a serious problem out on the trails.

I just bought a complete set up - carb, cable and thumb throttle all in one shot.

Yes, someone converted mine to a twist throttle so I'd imagine it has the longer cable.

The one I bought came with the twist and cable too so I'll figure something out haha

So I don't need to buy anything else?

I put an '85 carb on mine with all the stock parts, airbox, cables, choke, etc. Just had to do a little stretching. :beer
