i found a guy down the rode today who use to part stuff out he has a 82 or 83 250r in his field its missing the motor and back fenders n axle it has all the wireing carb a phase 5 full pipe some other pipe posibley another phase 5 the frame is in nice shape has complete front end minus the head light. im wondering what i should offer him for it? and what are phase 5 pipes worth? it has the phase 5 tag on the silencer. i talked with him for an hour or so hes fixin to tryn get back in the busines of selling used 3 wheeler 4 wheeler parts in a walk in business style thing n i may start working for him. hes good friends with a guy whos like my 2nd dad. n he told me the guys barn that fell back in a storm a few years ago probaly has a estimate of a hunderd 3 wheelers in it. the way he talked he doesnt have but a few sport 3 wheelers though.

Condition has ALOT to do with price. NOS in the box $$$$$$. Used, rusted, dented bent, see the picture.

well its oviusly used it seems to be in decent shape i didnt see iny rust on the bike anywere the pipe might have had a few lil dents in it the front tire was dryrotted the rim looked like new plastics a lil faded not much been seting under a tarp for proly 3 or 4 years on blocks the trimoto was rusted up a lil but its not been covered

for the pipe or full trike?

and is it an 82 or a 83 - is the front tire a narrow one like found on laer R's or a very wide knobby? The pipe, does it run outside the frame or tuck in behind the frame?

Try and get it as cheap as possible and do your best to rescue and restore that poor fooler. If you need any help along the way you'll get plenty of advice here or 3w.org or we will gladly help you along over at airfoolers.com

i meant it is ether a 83 or 84 srry miss typed its defintly not a 81 or 82. im talking buying whole bike the guys like u dont want that for a restore u cant restore just that n im like i know but its a good start. lol and i thank i have a posibility on a few blown motors some were else. it will be my first complete restore wont be a nice as alot of u guys on here i have seen. but i will do my best with the resources and tools i can get. i have herd from a few guys that know the guy beter than i do that he has more stuff than he will ever say. im going tomaroo with a buddy of mine that has known him a wile to talk to him some more n tryn find out a lil more about the barn thats suposuvly packed with atc stuff.
