So I was helping my friend with his bike and he ended up storing the bottom end with 2 stroke oil in it (its a tecate). Before ive done mineral sprits, but would like to hear some suggestions.

I've heard paint thinner before, never tried it though.

yeh my only concern would be it eating the gaskets, and possibly eating the clutch. but boy would it come out clean

Put your regular bottom end oil in and turn over a few times and drain it. Refill, turn over a bunch of times and drain, Refill, Turn over a bunch of times and drain.Refill, Run it a little and drain. Better to waste oil than ruin an engine. Refill, run and check. I did this 4 times.

Transmission fluid works great if you want to be gentle. Diesel is my favorite, but it is known for causing a problem or two.

I have heard brake fluid is great but never tried it. It is suppose to be very acidic but still gentle
