:x I am so fed up with taking the timing chain off my 1980 atc 110 it dosen't have a master link i am trying too pry it off with a srew driver any body know how too take them off.I am at the timing chain sproket thats behind the points.

Well I don't think Cam Chains have master links, they are closed. I dunno how it works for a 110 but you should either be able to loosen a tensioner of some sort to let slack off the chain, OR be able to take off the gear and voila. Good luck

I want too take the cylinder off but the cam chain is holding it on so i can't pull the cylinder.

this would be a good time to buy a service manual.


you do not need to remove the chain to remove the cylinder and or head. you need to remove the cam and cam sprocket. once you do that the chain will be loose and you can pull the top end just becarful not to drop the chain into the bottom end ( i use i wire to hold them up )
