200x Motor Options?

Okay, so i talked with a guy today. Were going to swap two of my 2000 YZ125's for his atc200x Rolling chassis. I may be crazy but i love my trikes. The 200x has no motor, i have a 185s bottom end laying around and may have to stick it in there. But what other motors have been put into these frames without much effort? he said he would throw in his 300ex motor (in peices) but the frame would have to be chopped for it to fit? Dont really want to hack the frame up. And dont really want to put a little 185s motor in it either because it wont have a clutch. Just let me know what yall think i should do.

Ill check that out. I also have a 2002 XR250R motor, really doubt it will go in there to easy. Any body else got any ideas to make this 200x a blast?

I wouldn't do that deal...not even close to the same value.

Hell, sell the bikes and I will deliver a blacked out 200x with a brand new lifan engine in it...700 bucks at your door. You're a stones throw away.

all new bearings, seals and so on.

those two bikes are worth A LOT more than a 200x roller.

you'd have a complete X and at least an extra 300 bucks.

well, my YZ125 are pretty much basket cases now. There is only one motor, one set of tires no handle bars. some one stole all my trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro off of them, but left the bikes? what an ass. But i just dont want to look at them any more. And i dont ride my bikes much more, i got a xr250r if i wanna ride, but i have 4 trikes and working on a 5th. Are these liflan motors any good? as far as power?

brand new lifan vs 10.25:1 wiseco in a old 200x engine...the lifan takes it.

good power...they have shown very good reliability

700 at my door? im still thinking about that one. i may end up selling my XR. the cheapest i can find one is over a grand on ebay. i may put it on there and buy your 200x.

Lifan looks pretty decent price too. Im 6'8 250 pounds, i wonder how it will push me around. I have a 200e motor in a 185s that swings me around but then again i changed the gearing on it.

I'm 6 foot and was 320 when I was riding it.....I can stand the little sucker on it's tale, bearhug it and walk around with it.

You will need a new battery for it....and the brakes need to be put on...I never got around to putting the rear brakes on.

I have them in a box somehwere....bike comes with a giant rubbermaid container of parts and accessories.

the engine alone will run you 400....it has brand new black plastics, 83 black seat...aussie duner black shrouds...and a black tank, the tank does have a big dent and a ding...but fully functional.

700 is how it sits..... if you want me to put any of the parts on...or try to charge the battery, the price rises exponentially. lol. the plastics, engine, new cobra exhaust, seat, new rear tires, bearings, cables and seals, and everything totals well over 1100 bucks...

at 700 bucks, it can be running in under five minutes...connect the fuel lines to the carb, fill with gas, and jump off, as the battery is dead.

I mainly just want the damned thing out of the shop.

I think it either has 14/35 gearing on 18in tires...or 13/35 on 18s... it moves along pretty damned good, I know that.

Whats the main difference in the 200s and 200x bottom end? Are there any other engine option besides the lifan? anyone put a 250r motor in it or anything?

I'd ship it by putting it in the back of my xb and having it down there in less than 3 hours. lol...

damn, goat got to you first! i have a couple auto x's that will be up for sale soon. BTW, that is a cheap price for your 200x goat. you better jump on that matt. hell, the engine is over $400 alone.
