83 250R Rear Plastic

Just wonderin if the rear plastic off an 86 250R would fit on my 83??

I don't think so, so much changed on those between 83 and 86 I doubt they would interchange.

Will any of the parts from an 86 go on my 83?? Seems like the parts off those newer models are alot easier to get and are much cheaper. What about like the rear axels or the swingarms?

seriously the 83/84 series shares almost nothing with the 85/86 series. about the only thing you could use would be the 85/86 front forks/front end. you will gain a 1" of travel and 4'' in fork tube diameter (less flex) and you can run the 85/86 front brakes (better feel)
