Anybody have any info on the 38mm airstryker carb? I heard that they will work on the T3's. Is it a direct replacement? where to buy? I looked on ebay and I found 38mm carbs, but nothing that said airstryker. any help would be appreciated

Theres lotsa Tecates running around with 38's on them... The gains will be focused in the mid-top range, but its likely that a pwk may be more responsive than stock at all speeds when tuned properly.. The air-stryker is just a pwk with little vanes for increased response.. Dont overlook the regular pwk if the price is right

Try eddie sanders racing.com. If your running a stock cylinder it might be to much carb. With the KX cylinder the 38 is a must.

So I am thinking of getting a new carb also. How will they know what jetting you need? And what will you need to put a cable and throttle on it?

I have a 38mm quad vent PWK (airstryker?) on my 1986 KX250 and it works just fine. Twist throttle and regular cable.
I run something like 155-160 main and 40 pilot I think. 1500-2000ft. 60-95 degrees.
Stock pipe with AM silencer. No air box.
I would say it's mid to top response.

Only you can determine what jet size you will need by trying them out and checking your plug to see if it is rich , lean or just right. As the temps change the jets may need to be changed. ESR used to give you a jet board full of jets but im not sure if they still do.
