here's the pics of the piston kit i bought. at first i thought this was a stock replacement piston but much to my surprise it showed up being higher compression!!:w00t: :w00t: i paid about the same price for this as i would have buying a stock replacement and it comes in a super cool box!!!!:D

Awsome score! Any idea what compression it acctually is? Looks a lot like the 12:1 i put in my trike.

thanks... im not really sure on the comp ratio, its been awhile since i've had anything to compare it to. i would guess somewhere around 10:1.

Nice, nice, nice. About time you posted this. It would go pretty sweet with my 185s stroker crank and rods. What kind of cam are you looking at? That has some fun potential to it. I'm not real sure what the compression ratio would be on that. Nice grab.

The dome looks too short to be 12:1. I know that some of the older pistons use to be 11:1 so mabye thats what it is.

I was gonna snag it up, but it looked like an 85 and under 200/185 type and not an 86 200X piston.

Nice score, I thought it was rare myself......

oh man, you had to mention the stroker kit didnt you!!lol not sure on the cam yet, once i talk myself into believing that i need to spend $400.00 on the whole megacycle set up i start to work on my wife:lol:

i could measure the dome and compare it to a 10.25:1 wiseco and get an idea. for the price im pretty happy knowing its better than stock.

That is very cool indeed.. Gonna go very nice with the other old school parts.. Now does this just put it on its last bore and thats where the extra displacment comes from?

Is there a very noticable differance between 185, 200, and 200x cams just by looking at the lobes? I was going threw my cams to get you one and noticed one was quite bigger than the other, but it has no markings like the other cams ive had in the past.. Thats why ive just assumed it was stock cause the lack of marking, ive never compared it in the past.. The bike was rather snoty and i thought it had a cam but when i pulled it, it had no markings so it went with the other stockers..

im not really sure why its called a 210 kit. the piston is 1.50mm oversize, so technically it isnt on its last bore, second to last bore. i thought boring your 200cc honda 2mm over put it at 199cc's. i guess i need to look into it further.
on the cams, i dont think the difference between the 185/200 and the 200x cams is much. i cant really say if you would notice it with the naked eye. i think back in the day a 200x cam probably had a little more lift and some more duration to it than the others, and the xr 200 cam would have more than it. now i think you can only get one cam for all those machines and i read that the new cam for them is to the xr spec, dont quote me on this though. something you can do is take a dial caliper and measure the lobes, in mm's you should be able to tell how much bigger your big cam is. OR, you could send it home with me and i can measure the lift and degree it for the duration.:D im kinda curious to see it now.

Big Al's was a big name back in the day. That looks like a 10.25-1 piston.

Pretty sprockets. I like the aftermarket goodies. Jason, I hope to be up next Sunday at Bruces. That sprocket would look nice on that NASA axle.
