ok looks like im getting it together but having problems figuring out why it dosn't seem to have any power at start. it feels like the clutch isn't fully engaging. im new to this so i'd say slipping but it dosn't jump when i put it in gear it just sits and i can rev up the engine and it dosn't have the responce that i would think it should. i'd think it should lift the front wheel pretty easy but i can floor it and it just takes it time to get up in speed.
Is this normal, am i expecting to much i've seen videos of this trike and mine don't respond like them.
Also still got that tick. come to the conclusion its timing chain or missing tooth there about but havn't opened it up that far.

Clutch is definitely slipping. It may just need adjustment, but you might need clutches!

ok the adjuster on the right side the one with the lock nut i just replaced it with a spare off another bikje cuz the old was chewed up by a screw drive.

i will try to re adjust it. tell me if this sounds right lossen the lock nut the turn the screw clockwise tell i feel resistance then counter clockwise 1/8 turn tighten lock nut.

It's the opposite. Loosen the locknut. Turn the clutch adjuster with a screwdriver counter clockwise until resistance is felt. Turn it back, 1/8 turn (clockwise). Tighten the locknut to 11 ft.-lbs.
