Here is a picture of an NOS tiger radiator mount/bushing
This piece is rubber in the center. I stopped at an auto shop and they have never seen anything like it. I am sure tiger didnt manufacture it. They probably used something that was out there in the mid 1980s. Has anybody ever seen something comparable. I am sure soomething could be made easily out of the round cylinder grommets out there but you all know how finicky I am. This is 6 sided and marked

Is that a nut on the othe end? So is there a stud on both ends? It kinda looks like a mount that I have here that came off of a 1996 Ski-doo MXZ583 exhaust mount. I'll have to go dig it up.

That is a isolator use on a large radiator. We replaced these on one of my machines. We got them from CAT. Looks nearly identical.

OC... Those are known as cylindrical anti-vibration mounts.. Also sometimes called shear mounts, just depends on the application. Below are a couple of links that should get you close to what your looking for. Hope this helps?

OC, We replaced those on my Tiger 250. I know harley davidson made similar mounts to vibration isolate the battery boxes on late 60s early 70s bikes, but I beieve Bruce got ours from McMaster/Carr. I will ask him to double check though.

Is it metric or standard threads? Cat stuff should all be metric, not sure if your going for 100% authentic or what.

Going for it to "Look" the closest visually.....So unless someone puts a standard wrench on it when I 'm not looking it will be OK....
If thats the case they wouldnt live to talk about it anyway:D

Yes I bought some from Mcmaster Carr Page 1362 for Pats Tiger, I wasn't going for 100% original but close. When comparing all the Tigers that were here, none were the sam. Pats di have some like yours OC but my 200 as the plain round ones and my 250 is just a stack of grommets.

I had a Hondaline tool box for the front of a Big Red that was NOS and in the mounting kit it had those that where 6 sided. It was a round grommet with a steel hex plate on each side that was part of the stud, so you could put a wrench on the hex plate then tighten the 10 mil nut..
Those were also used with Contracting electrical companies.
They used those as insulators for High voltage wiring..
You may want to search some online industrial electrical warehouses.

I know it's an old thread, but there's a similar piece that was used on the kioritz back pack leafblowers(80's-90's), also known as echo nowadays. It's a bolt that's attached to a metal plate on each side and has an inch of rubber between. I'll add some pics later.
