I saw this on a military vehicle site. Very cool piece of history. I would like to learn more about it.

I hope to locate one. But I bet they are harder to get than an 87 250R.

I know the US Army used KLT 160s. I saw some at a military auction years ago. They were painted Camo and had special brackets bolted on them. That would be my last choice in a trike, but I guess we got them cheap.

I would love to see photographs of that KLY 160. I have some hook ups in DRMO. I might be able to locate the remains of one.

At the time I was a private cleaning auction equipment. But I knew what I was looking at. I'm sure all of those bikes are long gone. That was in 1995.

That is a good point. Walking is not a preffered mode of transport.

Imagine doing a tour of town with one of those a sunday afternoon with you girlfriend. Never saw one. There is also some trike with 2 tracks in the rear and a motorcycle fork in front. Can't remember the movie I see them.
