Im curious as to what psi you guys use in your front forks. I have a 200x. I weigh around 170. There at 0psi right now Squishy just rebuilt, but not sure what would be a good psi for my weight.

You do not put air in the front forks. Those valve stems are to let air out. If you put air in your forks you will most likely blow the seals. A good sealing set of forks will build up air pressure with the right circumstances during usage affecting the funtction of the shock. Some one here on the boards can explain a lot better than I.

i was told back in "85" NOT to put ANY air presure in the front fork's because it causes heat... heat is friction thus for will weaken the viscosity of the oil...
what i did was use 15-20 weight fork oil by useing 3/4 to 1" more in each Tube..
and to release ANY and ALL air PSI after each MoTo or Hard Ride

When I let the air out of mine I raise the frt wheel off the ground then hit the valve. Also if you use a thicker fork oil it will take some of the squishyness out. I think I used ATF in mine isn`t that what the shop manual calls for?

Yeah I run ATF dextron in my 250r. Seems to work good for me.

Zero psi! If you want stiffer suspension. then switch to a thicker oil or raise the height of the oil. Or stiffer springs.
