Need better sugestions on where to find parts for a 86 200x I'm ready to push this thing off a cliff.

That's too open-ended of a question. You really need to ask for specifics. There's quite a few vendors that still sell parts for those, there's ebay, and there's a lot of people here that can help you. I have a few 86 200x parts myself. What do you need?

First I need kicker shaft it runs but has a bad knock. I am doing a full restire because this thing is trashed. the guy before me beat the crap out of it.

Yeah, I parted mine out over not being able to find a kicker. There's more to that story, of course, but the kicker was the kicker. :lol:

Another edit: unfortunately the kicker shaft is dicontinued. But you can find them used. Ebay.

86 or 87 is only year that will work it is the only year they used that motor and the only one on ecrap is for an 83 complete different motor so i'l just wait for a while and see what turns up

Yep 2nd generation 200x. It may take a while but they do show up.

Also post in the classified. I got one that way a while back.

Has anyone ever looked at the 86 XR200? Do they use the same shaft?

Edit: Just did a quick search for 86 xr200 pics. The motor looks totally different.

I think I should still have these mint 86-87 200x front forks if you need some.

forks still good but rear carrier and swing arm bearings are trashed and all the motor mounts are missing or bent it amazing the chain stays and all of the rear break parts are missing looks like somebody used it as a parts bike
