Does a 86 250sx have a oil filter? I`m going to help my bud with the servicing of his sx and the dealer told him it didn`t. If it does could someone post up a pick of were its at. I thought it did. Also how much fork oil does it take per fork. Thanks for any help:beer

yes there is a filter, its in the side case of the motor. pretty easy to change.

It has an oil filter (external) and an oil screen behind the clutch cover.

Remove this black cover and the oil filter is behind it. It is just above the clutch adjustment. Make sure you put the oil filter in correctly. Actually you remove the thing that the black cover is attached to. There are three bolts.
