I pick up this on ebay, i'm hoping it shows up in good condition and isn't too twisted, with a bunch of stripped out threads or anything.

Anyway i'm thinking i will just rip the thing apart and start fresh, i've been looking for a project but i dont really have much interest in working on the 85 at this point. My 200x was rebuilt and what not a few years ago and it is a little rough around the edges. I'm not looking to make it a perfect but just clean it up a little bit and keep riding it, TC...

Your other frame busted up?

Nope but i did my 350x build the same way and i had everything swapped over in a day or so and it was down to the details after that. Instead of ripping it apart, losing little bolts and pieces and forgetting how to put it back together after the frame comes back from powdercoating, i would prefer to have them side by side...

Yeah I'm almost done with my 86 x, just gotta get rear plastic's, rear rims and tires, front brake res, and rear brake pedal.

motor is P&P'd, but otherwise stock.

I like the blue frame TC, what color are you doing the new frame?

I have no idea most likely blue again, its a little different but still blends enough that it doesn't look funny. I gotta call the local PC shop that recently opened and see what they have to offer me before i get too excited. I haven't found anyone that has had things done there so it may end up out towards danville somewhere which is where my father had his chevy frame done and it turned out great...
