1984 Honda 250R

I know you guys of all seen these type posts b-4..... but i gotta ask anyways what do you think a Honda 250R in good shape is worth, i would say it is great shape but i have not heard it run, just seen the pics and it is sharp!

just picked up a 1984 250r. paid 1,400 from my neighbor he rode it 2 times. its been in his garage. looks like it just rolled off the showroom.still has all the nipples on the tires.

I would say, $600-$800 or so. Why does it sit so low in the back?

If I were you I would wanna see if run first.Make sure it goes through all the gears as the 83,84's have gearbox problems and check out the rear shock to make sure its not blown

I have not looked at it in person its about 2 hours away, just trying to get some input from you guys the "pros"
The guy that has it wants $1200... but said he needs to sell cuz he needs the Cash! So he said he is willing to deal!

350x headlight. And it definately looks sagged out. Unless somebody lowered it on purpose? Otherwise is does look clean. If it ran and drove good Id say 700 or so.

I just bought an 84 too.

The guy was asking $1100 because it had new tires, plastic, redone seat, suspension rebuilt, and engine totally rebuilt.

I gave him $800 for it.:naughty:

I would pay $800 for the one you are looking at since it is cosmetically pretty nice. Airfoolers RARELY go for more than $1000 unless they are VERY nice.

I sold my 81R in fair condition 2 weeks ago for $700. Didnt look nearly that nice, but ran very strong and was a great rider.

Well after talking to him some more he said he would take $950 botom dollar, so I think I will just let it go and concentrate on putting my 85 200X back together!
