What do you do with your bolts? Just use stainless steel and leave them in the white? Do you paint them or PC them?

I'm just using the stock bolts, but I clean them up a bit with some Mother's polish first. Where I've modified things and the stock bolts will no longer work, I use SS.

I like to replace them with all stainless or for the ones that you can't get in the right thread pitch, I go back to OEM zinc coated.... The thing is, those 100$ kits have 80% of the bolts but the other 20% are too short, too long, incorrect pitch or the bolts shoulder length ESPECIALLY in the suspension department is wrong and things get sloppy (but they look real PRETTY if that matters to ya )
Just another thought, I cut off every one of those flimsy cable mounts and use plastic cable ties instead. Of course, we all love OEM stuff right at the correct place.... But, whether you paint or PC your frame, those 6 or so tiny mounts crack as soon as you lift them or push them back down against the throttle, brake and wiring harness.
I think the next time I have a frame done, I'm gonna thread a hole M4 right where those mounts are and then use "nylon loop clamps" for a cleaner yet functional look.
