Can you give us more info on the Hoosier you are using. I thought the pro-wedge, 4-snow or zipper would be good for the unstudded class.
How many trikes were racing?

Nice pics. That looks like it would be a blast. I hope you had a great time and that no one was hurt.

We race in a class that has aa average of 12 bikes per race bout 20 enteries overall in the class but some racers didnt make it every week....
as far as tires the norm out here is the hoosier Tri Trac quad dirt track tire t-10 compound.. i run a 18x10x10 ive done a ton of work on mine people use everything from sawzall circular saw razor blades as well as special tractionizing machines to get theres ready i use a combination of all im guessing better then 10 hours in each tire

pics of tires possibly...we don't have snow or ice down here, but I'm certainly curious as to what yall do to catch soo much grip.

Goat im out of town for the weekend but ill try to get some pics of the tires when i get a chence and post em up its kinda a fine line out here cause its so competitive and guys guard there tires like a well kept secret..... some of the guys just run em off the shelf depends but most ppl prep em to get more traction:TrikesOwn
