hey, hows it goin?first post here, been reading posts for a few weeks and i think this is a awesome site.i got a 83(im told) 200x, but it has a 200m motor in it...and i have a 84 250r frame and engine with out the rear end a swinger.my question is ...if i take the rear end and bearing housing off the 200x and build a swinger(with out the pro link) will this thing ride ok?i can weld and fab but im new to owning a trike and where im from the possibility of finding a used swinger is rare.plus the drive is on the opposite side on the 250.anyone ever flip the rear end? any suggestions? anyway thanks agian for the great site

Nice auto X, from the looks of the pic, it looks like that R needs a lot more than a swingarm. If that is all that is missing from it, then I suggest getting a swinger etc. from a member on the boards here. Just post an ad in the classifieds section. It would be an awful amount of work trying to retrofit that 200X swingarm onto that R. And yes, that suspension linkage is critical to the trike riding and responding correctly. Please don't butcher that X.:beer
