Alright, I just made a ton of progress on my '81R project, got the case halves together and the counter balance mechanism sorted out. Got to the kickstarter, and my Clymer manual says that there is an o-ring in the end of it followed by a thrust washer and then finally the gear and circlip. Now, the o-ring is long gone, so I go on bikebandit to order a new one and some other stuff that I'm missing, and their parts diagram says that there are two identical thrust washers, no o-ring. Try Babbitts, same thing. So, which is right? Does anybody have a downloadable Honda shop manual? Any help would be greatly appreciated! PS I've posted the same thing on airfoolers.com
