I was watching "American Thunder" this evening and was presently suprised when they interviewed Exile Custom Cycles in California, highlighting their new piece of work...a $65k trike including two 18" fatties on the back. Now that's something that would turn heads on the road!! Check out the pics of the beast. I got to get me one of these...

I think they built that during that show "biker build off" a few years ago on discovery channel.

It's friggin beautiful, but it seems you'd need a 40-acre field to turn it around with the fork/head tube angle like that.

Yeah, it would probably be a real pig on the street too. Some people will pay alot of money for something that all it will do is see alot of time outside the bar.

That's correct. That bike is at least 3-4 years old. Has been on television numerous times.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of looking at it. It's a beautiful and simple piece.

I don't claim to be a professional when it comes to the value of something like that, but I can't help but think that 60k isn't bad in reality. A custom motorcycle built by him will probably sell for that much if not more. Surely the trike would be worth as much or more than a motorcycle due to the parts alone.

It's got the wrong front end on it. It needs wider tripples and a fat front tire.

Does it matter? I would like one donated to the Crowballs Foundation for fun and enjoyment activities.:p

I like that guys builds.
The whole hidden clutch and throttle cable thing is the cats meow.

Both of the grips twist to operate the clutch and throttle, and the cables are hidden in the bars...Awesome.

Yeah I watched that episode. When he built it he did a massive burn out in his garage and at the competors. I just love it. But it needs a little bit of green.

I'm more interested in that trike running that small ford focus engine...

I saw a video a long time ago where someone machined two busa engines together and had them in a scion xb.

IT WAS RIDICULOUS. guy spent like 60 grand...the finished product was soo sexy though.

I like that trike in the beginning...but it definitely needs a fatty front...and sadly it'll still only prolly hit 140 or so. for 60k on a bike I want at least 200mph flat.

Yeah Mosh, I was going to say that. The dude that built that was the first to come up with tha I believe. I think he was a tall blonde british guy. I dont know how that would fare on a sport trike. Actually it might be pretty sweet now that I think of it, but I guess you would have to try it to find out.

P.S. I love this guys style on flat colors. Black and satin metal. I absolutely love it. Gives it a raw look, like and old rat rod.

even the new trikes, that I think Polaris makes would be cheaper than that thing, and actually handle the road much better, But something just seems wrong with the two wheels up front on a trike :)
