rear axel & vforce reed valve question

will a CR reed valve work in my 85 R cylinder?
my buddy is giving me a vforce2 set up for a 2000 CR
and i was wondering if i can make it work

i also want to swap my rear sproket hub for a 86 style
will i need a 86 swing arm, axle & bearing carrier?

any info will be greatly appreciated

Deepa just sported on of these on his 250R. I believe they use a CR intake and dremel the rubber out a bit but the fit is perfect. He also used CF reeds.

IDK where he got it, but the modified CR cage came with the V Force reeds.

In the end, he has a fast and potent motor all through the power range.
