my new 250sx

new here but have been checking out the site for a while. i had a 250 big red that ran ok but wanted something quicker so traded for a 250sx but it was in rough shape and smoked a lot, so i decided to sell it the day i got it, well a guy traded me this sx for my beater sx and a non running xr200r, he came by today and we worked a trade. i figure after trades and some cash involved i worked this for about 800.

how can i post pics? its saying my size is no good

If you have a decent photo editing program it should let you save 'em as different quality levels/sizes. As for the thumbnails, every time I've attached pictures to a post, they always came out as thumbnails.

i also traded this 1982 xr200r towards it, it was sitting in the barn for 7 years or so, wouldnt run, had spark, smoked when i put it away needs valve job, rings, chain.... anyway he said he got it home cleaned the carb, did some tuning and she fired right up, these hondas are unreal. what do you think it was worth?

i dont know what the bike would have been worth but the 250sx was definatly worth it, id rather have one nice machine than two beaters any day and that is a REALLY nice sx

thanks peco, i am going to put a hitch on there and find a rear light and she will be just about complete. i also want to get some kind of decals for the tank. i am thinking maybe some old honda wings, i know they werent stock but it could look good. maybe red white and blue ones, maybe just the old gold ones, we'll see

you could also make a stencil and paint on the original design if u want to take the time to do it

i want to get some foot / brush guards for this thing, anyone have any or kno where to get them? OEM or hondaline not that important to me
