changing timing chain on 81 atc 200

hello im currently changing the timing chain on my atc 200 this is my first ever attempt.
i took off the recoil starter, starter pulley, label.
now im having trouble taking off the rotar.
on a side note once i get the timing chain fished thru all i need to do to tension it is tighten the bolt thats covered by rubber on my motar correct?

Make sure you have the motor at top dead center before you interfere with the timing chain. Makes it easier in the long run and make sure you line all your timing marks up correctly for the new chain install.
The rubber capped nut is the tensioner.

You are using a puller correct?
