Hello all I am new here to the site and to 3 wheels. I have riden them before, but never owned one untill yesterday. I aquired a 84' 125m. Its in excellent shape all original and just got it started. I have quads and dirtbikes so i am familiar with those but not this one. so my first question is what does the "m" stand for? That one is puzzuling me. Im sure its just for motorcycle, but not certain. also since the gas tank is 25year old metal im sure it has rust, has anyone heard of or made there own fuel filters to prevent either rust or junk from entering the carb??? How are these 125's?? are there any major issues with them at all?? Well I will stop with those questions and post a pic as soon as daylight appears here. Thanks for your input.

for the gas tank you can put some muriatic acid in it to clean it up then coat it directly after or it will rust 45 minutes later

Just because it's 25 years old doesn't mean that it has rust in the tank. It may but if it does you should be able to see it. You can run a small inline filter with no problems. The m is a mystery to me.

Great find! I had the same trike but sold it last summer.

Best mod I did to it (besides new tires lol) was a DG pipe. Got mine off ebay. I definately noticed a power increase from it.

Here's a vid of mine when I got the pipe on. Sounded mean!
