Robbed a tach off of an old air compressor and installed it on the 200. Works good. The hour meter will help keep track of maintenance too.

Impressive tach man. I would like to find a tack like that for my X.

What did you run the pickup line to? I am going to need to use a tach to check my timing in the near future.

The tack has a slow reaction time. It is a one wire setup type. The wire wraps around the plug wire pretty much anywhere. The tach can be set for 2 or 4 stroke and the internal battery is charged by the pickup also. Comes with 4 feet of wire. I just wanted it for the novelty of it.

Not bad for less than $50.
