Do any other carriers or swingarms fit in the 86-87's ?

I have a carrier, if you need. Its been modded alitte for 83/84 250r axle(stock chain adjusting tool won't work), it has fresh bearings/seals too. $50. I am putting a 88/89 250r rear end and suspension in mine. It requires work, not a bolt on. If you want to wait about 4 months, I will have a complete 86/87 swingarm assem, new rad carrier, +4 83/84 250r axle, lsr 400ex hubs, good brake caliper and good swingarm bearings. Once my suspension for its done, I may be able to give you that for a reasonable amount. Its a works shock, thats getting revalved and spung for mx, 200lbs.

Just an update, the 83-85 rear axle does work. The sprocket hub fits kinda tight in the bearing seal, but it'll be alright.

^ Eric, does that mean the stock 86/87 carrier seal ID (sprocket) is a couple MM's smaller than what the 83/85 axle wants?? What about the rotor journal OD versus the carrier seal ID?

I can get oddball rubber coated seals...

How about sprocket and or brake rotor alignment??

The sprocket side seems fine. I didn't mic the 83-85 brake hub, but i found a old post where someone used the 86-87 brake hub. Which makes no sense, if the srocket and brake hub are the same size.
The alignment on both sides is looks to be spot on.
