looks like a wesico one. but it's not foreiged, so it's not them. cound be a knockoff brand. don't think it's factory. they never did that to the tops that i know of.

wait i didn;t see the side pic, it does look foreiged. i bet it's a weisco.

Doesn't look like a stock piston. I'm gonna go with oscarmayer and say its a wiseco. It looks a lot like the 12:1 I put in my 200x. Probably a 10.5:1 wiseco.

what do you mean by being for forged

yea i was thinkin the 10.5 as the dome is not that tall. I'll know shortly as i'm about to order another weisco. i'm about to do up a motor for a friend.

are you sure it isn't 4156ps ? in the dennis kirk catalogue for the 200x there is a piston that is part number 4156 , and if you look at the bottom of the 4 in the picture , and then look at the second number it doesn't look like a 4 , i am thinking it's 4156 , and a wiseco piston

it's a wiseco ,but the number is 4156PS,not 4456PS .In my catalog it's a 10.25 : 1 piston

Standard bore on a 200x should be 65mm. I'm not sure what the "best" gasket kit to use, but when I rebuilt my motor I used a kit from moose. Seamed like a pretty good kit, I don't remember any problems lining anything up or any leakage. The head gasket has held up to the 12:1 compression well also.

weisco has a top end gasket setup they sell. I like cometic's stuff too.

I was trying to think of the other brand I'd used in the past. Cometic..that was it....theyre stuffs good too. I'm not sure you can really go wrong when buying gaskets quite honestly.

well in the catalogue , for wiseco kit 4156 there are 3 different kits , one is .50 oversize , one is 1.00 oversize , and one is 1.50 oversize.

the .50 one the bore is 65.5
the 1.00 the bore says 66
and the 1.50 the bore says 66.5 ....hope that helps.

there isn't a 4156 kit in my dennis kirk book that says 4156 STD......at least not on page 501 lol ........hope i helped ya out some

for a 200 there is a STD one but it is #4362 and that kit has a 65mm bore

did you look at wesico's website?

http://www.wiseco.com/Catalogs/Powersports/HondaATV.pdf (this is their catologe) it shows for a 200x they make a 65mm bore piston menaing STD or standard. that parts palce your looking at is a "middle man". for parts to to the source.

oh , well i looked at the site , and i se there is a 65mm piston listed for the 200x , but the problem is it is piston #4362M , or 4394M and the stamping on his piston is 4156 , so i am not sure , but thank you for pointing out that i need to go to the source . I am a Newb here . Thanks man :beer2

i'm thinking the palce taged it with t heir markings. Weisco does not mark their pistons that way. btu i woud not be supprised to see a different shop mark them so they know what kind it was incase the box was lost or they had it and the jug done before hand and let it sit. (i know some shops that do that stuff with certain performance blocks for autos.)

anyway, weisco does make a 65mm piston. it coudl even have origionally been for a 185s or 200s but it's the same stuff so it would bolt in and go.

It might be a really old Wiseco piston...if I remember right, didnt Wiseco change thier part numbering system a while back? Might explain why it doesnt match any of the new part #'s.
