Well I got a good deal on the whole rear of a 350x that I couldnt pass up. Because my friend also has one that has been sitting, we decided to use the morning to replace his rear swing arm bearings with some I got extra.... he has been riding the bike for years and said the chain always fell off and was wobbly in the rear... All I can say is WTF are people thinking? I decided to show what his looked like when they were removed, along with swing arm and skid plate:

Wheres the swingarm skidplate? Oh wait! There it is!

Skid plate rusted away, still metal until this bolt...

So... what happened to the carrier?

The sign of salvation... new bearings

Some clean up and 2 cycles in washer... back together and nice and tight;

Yeah, wasnt a brand new one. But the carrier off the rear end that I got. The bearings on it were good, but i had 2 sets of rears so I put one set on his.

He said it hasnt pulled that hard since he first got it back in 1998 :crazy: Wonder how long it was ****ed up.

What I wish i took a picture of was the INSIDE of that carrier, the broken bearings and metal were all stuck and it took a good 45min in itself to remove. When he lifted the rear, I could move that swingarm about an inch up and down because of the blown rear.

Have a new chain on order for him too.
