I drilled mine out. If you have an Impact hammer that is the way to go. You hold it in one hand and pound on the end and it turns out the screw, they work slick. If you drill the head of the screws they will turn out be hand as the head is holding all the tension.

I just did this a couple weeks ago on my 200x. I ended up stripping them suckers to nothing with a Phillips. So I got out my Dremel with a small cut off wheel and turned them into straight-slot heads and was able to break them loose with a big straight-slot screwdriver.

ok guys i got em , what i did was take a small drill bit and i drilled as close to the side of the screw head as i could without hitting the side of the hole. Once i had about a 2/8's deep hole i took a punch put it in the hole and i hit the punch with a hammer in the direction to take them out , worked like a charm.
on a side note, while i was taking apart my engine today ( need to get inner case tig welded and replace gaskets ) i found a very very very small spring insidethe engine , i have no idea where it goes , it was just sitting there underneath the oil pump when i took it off , no lie it is the size of a piece of led in a pencil that breaks off. Anyone have and ideas ?
