This is what the guy said in his ad.
"I got an 1982 250r trike, it runs like new, it was a specially built trike with a ram air induction through the frame put in by the honda racing team ".

Can someone shed some light on this or is this guy blowing smoke out of his trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro?

Is there any articles on this ram air induction?
Does it go by that name (ram air induction) or was it called something else?

All the 1982 250r's had them. They are plastic scoops right under the top tripple tree behind the head light. In a way he is blowing smoke about them being put on by honda racing team but in another way he isn't as they are there but they are stock.

Basically it is a way to snorkel the intake. The air is taken higher then the airbox and in front of the trike where there is less dust.

I think almost all honda atc's are that way. Atleast the sport trikes do. I know my 200x has something like that on it.
