So we got ice, now I want to put together my 250R. I had my heart set on all this cool ESR stuff, and in one years time, they don't have the stuff I Want anymore.

I was hoping to get a counter balance bearing holder (billet) and a piston from them. I also wanted one of their heads, and I figure upgrade the reed block and reeds.

Since I didn't do anything for a year, and my head is a half hollow empty space that gets an overload of new information everyday, I don't even totally remember what I was going to do with the dam motor, and now what I should do.

I think I was going to replace the main bearings, counter shaft bearing, new piston, reed cage, and reeds (which one?), bore and hone.

I have an FMF pipe on it, don't have the doe to go all out right now.

Ok, with the help of JohnR I found some of the parts, ESR vamped their website and made it difficult for me to find it.
Still need a good piston.

weisco piston is a good choice and it gives a little higher compression than stock so that means more pwoer!!! RRRRRRRRRRRrr (tim allen)

Just found out today, I got one in there, and its in good enough shape to run it for the rest of the ice season.

Here's a question, why not?

I remember billy cutting his piston to lower compression, why aren't there any high comps?

Always wondered that and never thought to ask...
