250es No Fire???

If i hold the black wire from the stator i get shocked. And i have checked the resistance on that wire. It was perfect. I also put a new cdi and a new coil on the trike. Still no spark. Do pulse generators go out? What would yall do? I have a good pulse generator i bought for my 250sx and never put it on, because it wasnt the problem. The wires are different but they are the same. (ES has one wire like a TRX and SX has that wire and a ground wire) should i try to wire it up? or are the different? What would you do? Any advice would be awesome.

check your spark plug cap, i ran in to this on my R a few days ago. mine was stripped where it snaps on the plug

All kill switch wires are cut, and the keyswitch hot wires are twisted together. Not The spark cap either i just bought a new coil, with cap. and if i hold the plug wire, nothing.

pickup coil is what was wrong with my 250es i checked everything else till that was the last thing left. put it on and ran fine agian..

i hope its the pickup. another member is supposed to hook me up with a good one. i have one for my 250sx thats brands new, any one know if i can make it work? its got 2 wires and mine has one. does anyone have a stator for the 250es?
